LoadCargo.in is a web-based application that uses an advanced bin-packing algorithm to calculate optimal cargo placement. It supports 80+ pre-configured container and truck types, Excel data import, and multiple export formats (PDF, XLSX, RTF, TXT).

Key capabilities include stackability rules with weight limits, multi-axis rotation control, priority-based loading, shipment grouping for multi-stop routes, axle weight distribution for road vehicles, ULD air-cargo containers, pallet building, and center of gravity indication. All dimensions are in centimeters and weights in kilograms, with imperial unit support.

Important: containers of the same nominal type differ significantly between carriers. Across 40ft standard containers, payload ranges from about 26,480 kg to 28,880 kg — a spread of roughly 2,400 kg. Plan against the unit you actually booked, not a generic figure.

## Equipment Types

Supports standard 20' and 40' containers, high-cube containers, reefer (refrigerated) containers, open-top containers, flat racks, trucks, trailers, double-deck trailers, flatbed trucks, ULD air-cargo containers, pallets, and custom user-defined equipment with configurable dimensions and weight limits.

## Data Import

Cargo data can be imported from a dedicated Excel template (XLSX) with fields for dimensions, weight, stackability, rotation preferences, priority, and shipment grouping. Length, width, height and weight are mandatory. The template has a 3-row header, so data starts on row 4.
